The
story begins when a NOVELIST sits down to write
her newest book. She begins it as a fairy tale,
in a grand old house in Maine…
There once were three sexy
sisters, AMBER, ROSE, and VIOLET, who returned
to their ancestral home upon their father’s
death. He deeded all of the property to his
daughters—on the condition that they must
stay there until Amber’s 25th birthday,
which was only months away.
However, their evil AUNT
ZELDA wants the house for herself, and so devises
a devious plot to place the girls under her
power. It seems that there is a dark, mysterious
MAN who lives in subterranean passages beneath
the house, and that Zelda is his sexual slave.
The Man wants all three daughters—especially
the youngest, Violet. He promises Zelda the
house if she can provide the sisters as his
playthings.
During the first part of
their visit, the sisters see a portrait of a
beautiful woman (who looks vaguely like the
Novelist!). They muse about whether it could
be a picture of their mother, who died after
Violet’s birth. They ask the handsome
groundskeeper MATT, but he has no idea. The
only thing he knows is that he finds Violet
very beautiful…
Meanwhile, Zelda receives
a phone call from none other than—the
Novelist! In a post-modern plot twist, the Novelist
warns the evil aunt that the girls are not to
be harmed. Zelda begins her foul plot anyway,
and leaves a canter of drugged brandy in the
girls’ bedroom. Rose is the only one who
drinks it, and afterward dreams of torrid sex
with the mystery Man. Amber is the next to fall:
when she uses enchanted bath salts provided
by Zelda, she dreams of an orgy with the dark
stranger and his minions.
Matt and Violet begin to
fall in love, but remain chaste in their budding
attraction. Zelda tries to corrupt Violet by
giving her a spell-inducing romance novel, but
in the middle of her dream, Violet realizes
it is the Man seducing her and awakens in horror.
Seeing that the youngest
child is too pure to be led astray, Zelda decides
to trap her. She arranges a ball for Amber’s
25th birthday, and during the festivities, imprisons
Violet in a giant spider’s web. The Man
arrives, ready to force himself upon her—when
Matt bursts into the ball and frees his beloved.
Just as Zelda is about to wreak more havoc,
the Novelist shows up and declares that Amber
is now mistress of the estate, and that Zelda
is stripped of her power!
In true fairytale manner,
Matt and Violet marry, and all the sisters live
happily ever after. The end.
