The
film opens with a romance novelist discussing
her newest book on a radio talk show. The main
character, TARA, is also a romance writer…and
is suffering from a case of writer’s block.
While looking for inspiration in Paris, Tara
sees her sexy NEIGHBOR make love with her BOYFRIEND.
Tara writes about their tryst in all its erotic
glory…
Then the Boyfriend catches
the Neighbor with another man, and storms off.
Tara decides to step in and play Cupid, so she
buys flowers from the Boyfriend’s florist
shop and has him sign a romantic message on
the card. She then leaves the flowers for the
Neighbor, who joyfully calls up the Boyfriend…but
the reunion turns sour when the Boyfriend tells
her he didn’t send the roses. Tara, upset,
goes to confess and apologize. She tells the
Neighbor that her Boyfriend loves her very much…and
then goes and tells the Boyfriend the same.
The couple reunites, and Tara has the first
half of her book!
The second ‘chapter’
of WINDOWS OF THE HEART begins with Tara on
a flight to Dublin. While sitting in first class,
she witnesses the CAPTAIN and sexy stewardess
VICTORIA go off for an erotic rendezvous in
the bathroom. She also sees the CO-PILOT tell
the jealous stewardess MARTHA that she should
forget her past relationship with the Captain,
and think of the Co-pilot instead.
In Dublin, Tara stays in
the same inn as both couples. In one room, the
Captain and Victoria have a frenzied bout of
dominant-submissive sex; in another, the Co-pilot
and Martha make love. Tara spies on the latter
couple for her book, and is discovered. When
the two lovers go looking for Tara, though,
they stumble into the Captain and Victoria!
Martha and the Captain have a big fight, and
Victoria and the Co-pilot go off to talk…
which leads to flirting…which leads to
another erotic encounter. And when the Captain
finally breaks down and says he loves Martha,
the two celebrate by making love.
The third ‘chapter’
begins in Bolivia, where Tara meets Peace Corps
volunteer HENRY on a train. He tells her he
is staying in a village called ‘Los Diablos.’
Intrigued, Tara goes along and takes up lodging
with a sultry barmaid named MORDITA, who tells
her not to go out at night because of evil spirits.
During her stay, Tara witnesses Mordita having
sex with a mysterious stranger in the middle
of the night. Mordita accuses Tara of ‘weakening’
Mordita’s husband, and forces Tara to
leave.
The next day Tara tells Henry
that something weird is going on. Then mysterious
ANTONIO walks into the bar, and all the patrons
hurry out. It seems Antonio is a ‘vampiro,’
but also the ‘patron demon’ of the
village. Tara doesn’t believe a word of
it, but when she challenges Antonio, he refuses
to answer her questions…
That night, Tara sleeps in
Henry’s room. In a surreal scene of lovemaking,
Henry and Antonio somehow switch bodies. When
Tara goes to visit Mordita, she is visited by
Henry, who bites her during sex. Henry is the
real vampire, and Tara is doomed!
The next day, the village
performs a ritual stoning of Antonio, who then
returns to the spirit world in a magical flash.
He has cleansed Tara and the village of all
evil by taking it upon himself…but will
one day return to his beautiful bride Mordita.
